Terms of Use
Effective date: 30 October 2026
The short version
13 or older
You need to be at least 13, or older if your country requires it.
Bluff, don't bully
Fake answers are the game. Hate, harassment and personal attacks are not, and can get you banned.
Coins aren't cash
Coins, gems and energy have no real-world value and usually can't be refunded, except where the law or the store says so.
Guest accounts live on your phone
Your account is tied to this phone. Uninstall the app or change phones and it is gone, unless you have linked Apple or Google once the app offers that.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Halmob ("we", "us") for the Bluff mobile app and the website livetrivia.app (together, "Bluff"). By using Bluff you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Bluff.

1. Who can play
You must be at least 13 years old to use Bluff. Where the law of your country sets a higher minimum age for using online services without a parent's consent (in some EEA countries up to 16), you must be at least that age. If you are under the age of majority where you live, your parent or guardian must agree to these Terms for you. If Bluff offers an adult mode, it is only for people aged 18 or over, and by turning it on you confirm that you are. You may not use Bluff if the law prohibits you from doing so.
2. Your account
When you first open Bluff, we create a guest account linked to an identifier stored on your device. A guest account cannot be recovered if you uninstall the app, clear its data, reset or lose your phone, or move to a new one. Its progress, coins, gems and purchases go with it. When the app offers Sign in with Apple or Google, linking your account protects it. A Bluff+ subscription stays tied to your store account and can be restored from it.
You are responsible for activity on your account. Your account is personal: do not sell, share or transfer it, or use someone else's. Tell us at support@livetrivia.app if you think someone else is using it.
3. Community rules
Inventing believable fake answers is the point of the game. Hurting people is not. You must not post a nickname or bluff, or otherwise use Bluff, to:
- harass, bully, threaten or intimidate anyone, or encourage self-harm;
- post hate speech or slurs, or demean people for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or age;
- post sexually explicit content, or anything sexual involving minors;
- share anyone's personal information, such as a real name, address, phone number or social media handle;
- impersonate another person, Halmob staff, or a well-known brand or person;
- advertise, spam, or link to other services;
- promote violence, terrorism, or illegal goods or activities.
You also must not cheat. That includes:
- using bots, scripts, modified apps, or tools that automate play or reveal answers;
- colluding to share answers or farm rewards;
- creating accounts to get around limits or bans;
- exploiting bugs (please report them to us instead);
- reverse-engineering, overloading or attacking Bluff, or accessing it other than through the app and website;
- buying or selling accounts, coins, gems or other items outside Bluff.
4. Your bluffs and nickname
You keep any rights you have in the bluffs and nickname you create ("your content"). You give us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, store, display and reproduce your content, for as long as it is stored, so we can run Bluff. For example, we show your bluffs to the players in your game, show your nickname on profiles and leaderboards, and review reported content. You confirm you have the right to post your content and that it follows these Terms. Bluffs are short, public within a game, and not private messages. Please don't put anything personal in them.
5. Reports, moderation and enforcement
Bluff filters some words automatically. You can report a player for a nickname, a bluff or behaviour, and you can block any player. A blocked player cannot add you as a friend or find you in search, and quick match will not seat you together. When several different players report a nickname as offensive, it may be reset automatically to a generic name.
We may review reports and the related content. If you break these Terms, we may take any of these steps, depending on how serious it is:
- remove content or reset your nickname
- remove items gained by cheating
- limit features
- suspend or close your account
Where practical, we will tell you why. If you think we made a mistake, email us and we will review it.
6. Coins, gems, energy and other items
Bluff has virtual items: coins and gems (virtual currency), energy, room passes, power-ups and masks. You earn them by playing, from daily rewards and gifts, by watching rewarded ads, or by buying them.
- They give you a limited, personal, revocable licence to use features inside Bluff. You do not own them, and they are not money or property.
- They have no cash value. They cannot be exchanged for money or anything outside Bluff, or transferred to another account.
- We may change prices, rewards and balances, or remove items, to keep the game fair and working.
- Unused items are lost if your account is closed or deleted, or if a guest account is lost as described in section 2.
- Rewards for watching an ad are granted only after the ad network confirms the view, and daily limits apply.
7. Bluff+ subscription
Bluff+ is an optional paid subscription. It gives the benefits shown in the app when you subscribe, such as no ads, premium categories and premium masks. It is sold through the App Store or Google Play, at the price and for the period shown before you confirm.
- Auto-renewal: your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, and your store account is charged, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- Cancelling: you can cancel at any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Bluff+ then stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting the app or your Bluff account does not cancel the subscription.
- Free trials: if a free trial is offered, it turns into a paid subscription when the trial ends, unless you cancel before then. One trial per person, unless the store says otherwise.
- Changes: if the price changes, the store will tell you in advance and ask for your consent where the law or store rules require it.
8. Purchases and refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple or Google under their terms, and they handle payment. Purchases are final, and we do not give refunds ourselves, except where the law requires it or the store grants one. Request refunds from Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play (play.google.com, then Order history). If a refund is granted, we may remove the items you bought.
If you live in the EU or the UK: by buying digital content that is delivered immediately, you ask us to supply it straight away and acknowledge that you then lose your 14-day right of withdrawal. If a purchase does not arrive, contact us and we will deliver it or help you get a refund.
9. Ads
The free version of Bluff shows ads from Google AdMob, including optional rewarded ads. Our Privacy Policy explains your ad choices. We are not responsible for the products or content of advertisers.
10. Our content
Bluff, including its questions, artwork, characters, logo, sounds and software, belongs to Halmob or its licensors and is protected by law. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on your devices for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or rent any part of Bluff, or use its questions to build another product. Your use of the app is also subject to the App Store or Google Play terms. Apple and Google are not responsible for Bluff or its support.
We research our questions and their sources carefully, but trivia facts can be disputed or change over time, and we do not guarantee that every answer is correct.
11. Changes to Bluff and these Terms
Bluff is a live game. We may add, change or remove features, content, modes and items, or stop offering Bluff, with reasonable notice where we can. We may update these Terms. We will change the effective date above, and for important changes we will tell you in the app before they take effect. If you keep using Bluff after that, you accept the new Terms. If you do not, you can stop using Bluff and delete your account.
12. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Bluff at any time and delete your account under Settings → Delete account. Any Bluff+ subscription must be cancelled separately in your store. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering Bluff. Sections 4 and 6, and sections 10 to 16, continue after the agreement ends.
13. Disclaimers
We work hard to keep Bluff fun and running. To the extent the law allows, it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, for example that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or available in your country. Other players' bluffs and nicknames are their own, not ours. This section does not affect rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Halmob is not liable for any of the following:
- indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages
- loss of data, profits or goodwill
- loss of virtual items
- conduct of other players or advertisers
Our total liability for all claims relating to Bluff is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 50 euros.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where that is not allowed by law. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for intentional or grossly negligent conduct, and your statutory rights as a consumer. If you live in the EU or the UK, we are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul, Turkey, have jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring claims in the courts there.
Consumers in Turkey may apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committees (Tüketici Hakem Heyetleri) or Consumer Courts (Tüketici Mahkemeleri), within the limits set by law.
Before starting a dispute, please contact us first. Most problems can be solved quickly.
16. General
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Bluff. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours to a company that takes over Bluff, and your rights stay the same. Translations are for convenience, and the English version applies if they differ, unless the law requires otherwise.
